WELCOME!I'm Pastor Jim Fogle, and I have the great joy of serving Christ the King Lutheran Church, your community church in the Livonia, Michigan area. Christ the King is made up of real people living real lives and discovering the real love that God has shown us through Jesus Christ. Lutherans believe in the Triune God. God created and loves all the creation— the earth and the seas and all of the world’s inhabitants. We believe that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that God’s Spirit is active in the world. We are part of God’s unfolding plan. When we gather for worship, we connect with believers everywhere. When we study the Bible or hear God’s word in worship, we are drawn more deeply into God’s own saving story. God’s story of endless grace, love, forgiveness and justice. The story of manna from heaven. The story of a few loaves and fishes feeding 5,000. The story of the blind receiving sight and the lame leaping like a deer. It is the story of the bread of life that can feed us even after we die. This is the story we teach, learn, proclaim and live at Christ the King Lutheran Church. If this story sounds exciting to you, I invite you to join us at Christ the King. Come join us in worship as we thank and praise God for the blessings and gifts of God’s abundance.
