Worship Service

At

Christ the King

Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday.  Visitors who have been baptized with water in the name of the Holy Trinity are invited to participate.  Non-communing children and adults may come forward for a blessing.

At the table of our Lord Jesus Christ we receive Christ’s body and blood and God’s gifts of forgiveness of sin, life, and salvation to be received by faith for the strengthening of faith.  Lutherans believe that the true body and blood of Christ are really present in the supper of our Lord under the form of Bread and Wine and are there distributed and received.

The Children’s Message is a special time set aside in worship for young people (6th grade and below) to come forward for a special message.

If child-care is needed, please inform an usher and nursery services will be joyfully provided.  However, children are encouraged to stay for worship if they are able.

Parking is available in the church parking lot located to the north and south of the building.  Handicap spaces are available by the north entrance.  An elevator is also available by the north entrance for those for whom navigating the stairs is difficult.
