Sunday School will officially get into full swing beginning
September 19 after the worship service. Children age preschool
through grade six should come downstairs for a snack and music,
and then they will start the year hearing more about Abraham and
Sarah. There will be different stories about them each week for
three weeks. What did God ask Abraham to do, and why did Sarah
laugh? We will focus on these stories of faith, patience and obedience using interactive media. You won’t want them to miss it! Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, please sign your children up for Sunday School and encourage them to participate. Even children who are just visiting with you for the day are invited and encouraged to attend. At baptism, we promise to help our children grow in the Christian faith and life. What better way than to learn the stories of faith using the multimedia ways we use in Sunday School! And let them know that you are going to the “grown-ups Sunday School” while they are at theirs. It is an excellent way to role model for your children. Registration forms for Sunday School are located on the banister through September, and completed forms can be placed in the basket marked for that purpose. | Confirmation Classes | All Students Tuesdays at 7:00 PM |
Confirmation is a 2+ year program starting, in most cases, the 7th grade. They study many things including the Old & New Testaments, the 10 Commandments, the Creeds, and the Lord's Prayer. Students are required to attend summer camp at least one summer, and are encouraged to attend for two summers. This church alternates between two summer camps, Michi-Lu-Ca and Stony Lake. The Confirmation students also participate in servant activities throughout the year. Return to Top of this Page |
| Adult Bible Study | Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM | The Adult Forum is a chance for adults of all ages to learn more about the word of God
and about each other. We meet September through Mid-June. |
