Children age preschool
through grade six come downstairs for a snack and music,
and then they will start the year hearing about Bible Stories.
There will be different stories each week with lessons to learn,
and props to create. We will focus on stories of faith, patience and obedience using interactive media. You won’t want them to miss it! Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, please sign your children up for Sunday School and encourage them to participate. Even children who are just visiting with you for the day are invited and encouraged to attend. At baptism, we promise to help our children grow in the Christian faith and life. What better way than to learn the stories of faith using the multimedia ways we use in Sunday School! And let them know that you are going to the “grown-ups Sunday School” while they are at theirs. It is an excellent way to role model for your children. Registration forms for Sunday School are located on the banister through September, and completed forms can be placed in the basket marked for that purpose. | Confirmation Classes | All Students Sundays at 2:00 PM |
Confirmation is a 2+ year program starting, in most cases, the 7th grade. They study many things including the
Old & New Testaments, the 10 Commandments, the Creeds, and the Lord's Prayer. Classes are combined with several ELCA churches near Christ the King. Return to Top of this Page |
